ONOMZ Beauty Salon was built for the women, men and children of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire who couldn't find a salon that truly understood Black and Afro-Caribbean hair. From day one our mission has been simple: premium braiding and natural hair care, delivered by specialists who train exclusively on textured hair.
We are based on George Street in the heart of Aberdeen and welcome clients from every corner of the city and the wider shire — Bridge of Don, Dyce, Cults, Westhill, Kingswells, Ellon, Inverurie, Stonehaven and Portlethen.

Our expertise
Our stylists specialise in knotless and box braids, cornrows, Ghana weaving, boho braids, Senegalese and Marley twists, loc installation and maintenance, sew-ins, wig installs and natural hair care for 3A through 4C textures.
We use trusted extension brands including X-Pression, Sensationnel, RastAfri and human-hair curls for boho styles. Our care products are sulphate-free and alcohol-free by default, chosen specifically to protect the scalp during long installs and between visits.
Every stylist on the ONOMZ team has trained exclusively on Black and Afro-Caribbean hair textures. We stay current with the styles Aberdeen clients ask for through continuous training, collaboration with braiders across the UK, and daily feedback from our own clients.
Salon policies
Clear rules so every client — and every stylist — has a great day in the salon.
- Booking & deposits
- No online deposit required. Full payment on the day by card, contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay or cash.
- Cancellations
- Please give 24 hours notice to reschedule. Same-day cancellations during peak weeks may incur a small holding fee on future bookings.
- Lateness
- We hold your slot for 15 minutes. After that we may need to shorten the service or reschedule to protect the next client.
- Hygiene
- Combs, brushes and tools are sanitised between every client. Capes and towels are single-use per appointment.
- Allergies & scalp
- Tell your stylist about allergies, sensitive scalp or recent chemical services before we start. We use sulphate-free, alcohol-free products by default.
- Children
- Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the appointment.
